If you are an email marketer, or just send large quantities of email on a regular basis (like newsletters, emails that announce sales, discounts, etc), you simply have to consider this option. The most common 554 5.7.1 messages. 554 5.7.1: Client host rejected: Access denied. Host: smtp.mail.me.com. Auth: Normal password. User: user.name@icloud.com. Thunderbird tells me 'Username or password invalid' (the Geary client does the same). I have tried both user.name@icloud.com and just user.name as the username for IMAP and SMTP.

Question

I’ve spent days trying to figure this out and I am stumped. Got postfix up and working, both sending and receiving, under a test domain name (test.mydomain.com). Then moved ‘mydomain.com’ to DO’s nameservers and reconfigured Postfix to use 'mydomain.com’ instead, and now I can’t send email. Receiving works fine. Below is the output I get from /var/log/mail.log:

Any clues as to what is causing the issue? I should mention that ’user2@mydomain.com’ is an alias created using PostfixAdmin.
